This project was completed in 2026 at my studio in Montreal using Bergschaf and mixed wool. The techniques used to create this work were influenced by studies with Gladys Paulus.
The felted ram's head is an hommage to the late Elwood Quinn, who supplied me with the wool and great conversation. His remarkable contributions in developing agricultural awareness and appreciation in Montreal and beyond cannot be overstated. This piece bridges traditional textile work with contemporary sculpture to create a slightly surreal aesthetic, paying respect to his unconventional character.
